We’reseeking an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance Supervisor, based in Vilnius,Lithuania office . This position operates within the WUBS GSI team of the GCO organization. The WUBS Global Sanctions and Interdiction group ensures that Western Union Business Solutions is complying with the different Sanctions regulations and with Western Union’s internal Interdiction program.

  • Responsible for the operations management of Global Sanctions,Interdiction and PEP procedures to mitigate potential Sanctions and AMLrisks

  • Supervises a number of staff positions, forecasts staffing needsand allocates resources to ensure a timely completion of work

  • May play a key role as the liaison between the WUBS GSI Compliancedepartment, WUBS Operations, Regional Compliance and internal and externalaudit

  • Analyze trends and developing recommendations for business policiesand operational efficiencies

  • Executes policies that may affect the organizational unit and maycoordinate on activities with others outside the department as appropriate

What you will need to succeed:

  • Proven experience in sanctions screening as well as knowledge ofcurrent OFAC guidelines and regulations

  • Strong customer service orientation, analytical and problem-solvingskills, attention to details

What will make you stand out:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education required

  • Proven experience in complex retail/consumer financialservices/payment services organizations with multiple financial products,or a regulatory agency or law firm involving payment services complianceissues relating to anti-money laundering acts, and related sanctionsregulations

  • Extensive experience on managing projects and supervising teams

  • Knowledge of Anti money laundering compliance policies andprocedures

  • Understanding of appropriate Money Services Business regulatoryrequirements, the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, and their effect on our business

  • Ability to mentor team members

  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Access

  • Fluency in English

  • ACAMS, PMP, Lean, six sigma certifications
