The European Regional Operating Center (EUROC) – the largest Western Union (WU) site in the world focuses on driving real improvements through shorter lead times, decreasing costs and improving customer satisfaction. The EUROC also serves as a Centre of Excellence and hosts Anti Money Laundering Compliance, Accounting and Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Marketing, Operations, Digital Operations and Distribution among other functions.

The Job

Working as Anti Money Laundering (AML) Compliance service specialist, you will be conducting investigations, servicing inquiries received over the phone, e-mail or working directly with money transfers utilizing back-office applications, verifying customer identification documents and making decision. You will be responsible for providing support on anti-money laundering (AML) compliance program, including Global Sanctions and/or other internal programs while working with stopped payments. You will make accurate decisions assessing knowledge in AML Compliance field and communicate these decisions to Western Union agents, customers and/or service associates.

About you

You have college degree or equivalent. You are self-motivated team player who is focused on giving the highest level of customer service. You are attentive to details, proactive and possess analytical skills. In addition, you have outstanding verbal, written and listening skills. You are fluent in English (both written and verbal communication). If you have additional language skills (Spanish, French, German or any other) it would be counted as an advantage. You are willing to work on a shift schedule
